What it is all about

There is so much that I, or we all, for that matter think. So much interesting stuff comes to our mind. Just letting it go would be such a waste. In this blog I will write my thoughts, what I think, whatever I think.

Genius?

Did you know that after Albert Einstein died his brain was cut open and it was studied by almost all the famous research institutes in the world (they dying to get their hands on it). It underwent thousands of tests and they all said one simple thing - It is a perfectly normal regular kind of a human brain. Made me think, what does it take to make a genius? Not an unusual brain, for sure. No.
What you need is passion towards what you do, the thirst to always keep learning and most importantly not giving up. That's what this guy did, making him synonymous to genius.
All in all, it can be said that genius is not about your brain, its about your attitude. And it takes a genius to realise that.

Canonical structures of friends

Sometimes your best friends act like your enemies. That's when you feel very angry. I mean come on dude, you feel like he's your brother, you can trust him and that's when goes all unreliable. Now that really makes you mad.
Don't worry though, he's human(almost). Everybody makes mistakes. You gotta give him a chance. After all, he is your friend.

Old Friends

Friends really are so special. They make life worth living. Ever received a call from a long lost friend? If you haven't let me tell you it's one of the most special feelings. Man I spoke to a friend I had lost contact with for ten complete years. All the adventures we had together, playing with GI Joes, hotwheel cars and everything else flashed before me. This was one helluva walk down the memory lane.

Wish I could fly

You may think it is childish, maybe it even is, but sometimes I just wish I could fly. Wouldn't it be a wonderful feeling.
Man, all the things I'd be able to do, swoop past everything, the wind blowing fast on my face, flying through the blue sky, everything just a blur.
      Just a thought

Life

This is another one of those 'what is' posts. I think that's what I think about the most, what everything really is. Anyways, read on and please do write your comments.
Ever wondered what life is? I think everyone has, at some point of time. It's quite natural. But has anyone ever found out? Let me show you all I have discovered.
I shall begin with a seemingly unrelated and an esoteric topic, Happiness. What is happiness, in its true sense? (Sorry to be at it again!) Does it mean professional success, achieving what you want? I think we have stereotyped it to be that. 'Oh, he's so rich, he must be very happy' or 'Oh, he got into that big-shot firm, how happy he must be'.  But I think happiness means more than being able to buy that 40" plasma.
I think, I repeat I think that happiness means being able to enjoy life. If you are really satisfied and content with what you have, which is tougher than it sounds, you are happy.
Now back to the issue, what is life? I think it is whatever you make it. Sounds vague? It is. But that the truth. Life is an experience that you can shape for yourself. Of course you will face challenges but it all depends on how you face them. Life is what you make it. Your life is your own thing. You gotta do it yourself.
At the same time don't get to serious about life. As SRK said on twitter
"why serious about life. wot if one day we find out , we r all part of Gods one big hearty laugh...u will feel awful taking urself seriously"
 Simple but true, isn't it?

Time

Okay, this is a crazy one. Often I just sit alone thinking stuff, deep stuff, this is one of them.
What is time? You got it right, time. Some might think 'Hey, what is this guy saying? Time is umm you know..just time.' Dude, just try to define it yourself, you''l know.
Well I suppose you get your answer now. But I am still looking for mine. How exactly do you define time. 'Look it up on google' common sense says. Actually I did but I still couldn't find anything satisfactory. Wikipedia says
"Time is part of the measuring system used to sequence events, to compare the durations of events and the intervals between them, and to quantify the motions of objects."
Looking at the above definition we realize that it is somewhat vague. The phrases 'compare duration of events' and 'interval between them' are definitely helpful in understanding the concept of time but don't give a precise definition.
Having spent a lot of time thinking about this I also wonder if there exists a thing such as time. Let's find out. Let us begin with the nature of time.
1) Matter - Can you touch it?
Well we can all be sure that time is not matter. It does not have mass or volume. It can be deduced by using the tool of common sense.

2) Energy - Can you cook food with it?
Energy is defined as the ability to do work. But I think that it is kind of  obvious that a body does not possess energy by the virtue of time. In other words, the statement ' A body that "possesses" time has the ability to do work' makes absolutely no sense.

3) Feeling - Happy, Sad, Time?
Is time a feeling? Now that's a tough one. To answer that we will need a clear definition of the word 'feeling' as well. Well, relying on our intuitional idea of the meaning of word feeling(that's not very scientifically reliable but we are not getting into that now) , they kind of are related.
Our brain has a subconscious intuitive idea of time etched in it. It's not a scientific statement, it is just an observational inference.

So all in all we can say that time is a 'feeling'(or something like it) that helps us differentiate between past, present and the future.

We are one

Imagine, just imagine what things would be like if all the countries would unite to form a single super nation. No wars, no discrimination based on nationality, free flow of capital, culture and most importantly, people.
Under this system, all people will be equal, the way God meant them to be. All the problems will be resolved together and all resources will be shared.
An argument may be, 'Hey that stuff is happening, through trade and all. People migrate as well, so what's the issue?' Well, if you notice, in the first paragraph I have italicised the word 'free'. We have trade, true but we have different currencies. We also have migration between countries but that is also highly restricted. I am talking about every person being native to every part of the world. Wouldn't that be just awesome?
Although the chances of this actually happening are not very high, we should not be surprised if it actually does happen. Remember that nothing is impossible and there is always a first time for everything.
